There were some signs, but no one could know it for sure what's happening behind those blue curtains. But after the last hornpipes, they appeared, and suddenly everyone understood those mysterious noises... :)

Survived the 1st day. And what a day it was :-)

Thanks to everyone who was there, as a competitor, organizer, spectator etc. 

Special thanks to Mr. Laszlo Kucsak MP deputy mayor of the 18th district and Ireland's ambassador to Hungary Mr John Deady for their speeches and to the Hungarian folk dance group Tébláb!

Congratulations to all the dancers in the beginner and primary categories in the over 17 age groups and team dances, and to all the Open level dancers and Open Champions of the 2nd Budapest Feis! On Sunday we will continue with all the under 17 age groups beginner and primary level dances and team dances, and all the intermediate competitions. Stay tuned :-)

Beni

Beni, this great little guy, is being trained to the world of Irish Dancing by being taken to all dance classes, galas and competitions to support his sisters. What a little hero! They made friends with Rabbit, who wears the official t-shirt of Budapest Feis. What a long-eared hero!
